Marijke Klamer creëerde een 3-delige weefgetouw-installatie. Een houten frame met sculpturen en gespannen draden van zelfgesponnen wol en katoen, waar mensen tegelijkertijd aan kunnen werken. Om samen één werk te maken.

Marijke Klamer is een Groningse kunstenaar. Ze studeerde Beeldende Kunst aan kunstacademie Minerva. Ze schildert, tekent en werkt met textiel en keramiek.
Haar werk richt zich vaak op de relatie tussen wezens en hun omgeving en hoe deze in elkaar overgaan.
Recent werk omvat een installatie van keramieken werken, waarin ze verschillende sporen van leven, ontginning en waterlichamen uit het landschap van Oost-Groningen heeft afgebeeld.
Haar huidige obsessie is weven.

Marijke Klamer built a 3-piece loom-installation. A wooden frame with sculptures and stretched threads of self-spun wool and cotton, where people can work simultaneously. Creating one artwork together.

Marijke Klamer is an artist from Groningen. She studied Fine Arts at Minerva Art Academy. She paints, draws and works with textile and ceramics.
Her work focuses often on the relation between creatures and their surroundings and how they merge into each other.
Recent work includes an installation of ceramic works, in which she depicted different traces of life, exploitation and water bodies from the landscape of East-Groningen.
Her current obsession is weaving.
