This August, het resort temporarily takes over the former café ’t jonge tijgerpaard. For four weeks, the space becomes a temporary refuge for artists, writers and other makers. Every week, another group of artists takes over the space, collectively reinterpreting what a café can be.

Together, we attempt one last summer away from monetary economies by creating space for alternative ways of consuming, alternative economies, exploring intimacy in capitalist realities, collectivity and the re-use of material.

 

The café opens every Friday from 15:00 to 19:00, with events hosted by artists throughout the afternoon. Expect workshops, games, talks, screenings, a disco and more.
