Midseason is a program that focuses on prepping artists (post-grad '22-'24 + self taught'20>) for their professional practices. During the 3-month program you’ll get hands-on experience in how to position yourself on your own terms and become more aware of who you are as an artist. We provide peer-to-peer learning, souvenirs, teambuilding, field trips and a network of great people and institutions. Within the program we host days where you will reflect on your work, your writing, your online presence, and more!

The program starts in October and is free, it’s split up in days of 2 every other two weeks, to have enough space to digest and prepare. Some parts of the program will be hosted by our other art spaces in the North of the Netherlands to broaden your network and get to know other organizations, its people and their expertise.

The closing assignment is a site-specific group-exhibition on a surprise location for which you will develop new work. For the exhibition there is an exhibition fee (fair pay) available based on kunstenaarshonorarium.nl.
