SANKRIT KULMANOCHAWONG WORLD CHAMPION STAMPPOT COOK 2025!
The official World Championship stamppot cooking on February 12th, where seasoned chefs (some for the tenth time) competed against each other for the title of ‘World Champion’. Sankrit Kulmanochawong represented het resort and once again blew the audience away with his Thai version of the sauerkraut stamppot. Focused, deliberate and calm as a cucumber… Sankrit conquered the audience and the jury and deservedly won the official World Championship stamppot cooking, organised by Stichting Oud Hollandsche Gerechten Groningen.
The World Championship stamppot cooking is sponsored by Greydanus.

On January 24th, it was busy and the smell was delicious at het resort for the qualification of the World Championship stamppot cooking. Ten participating teams, that had registered through the open call, each cooked three kilos of stamppot with sauerkraut. Unique plates with ingredients such as sunroot, seaweed pearls and mustard waffles were served for the public to taste. By means of a ballot paper, each visitor could vote for their favourite. At the end of the evening, the votes were counted and the winner was announced who would represent het resort at the 30th anniversary edition of the GREYDANUS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP STAMPPOT COOKING on February 12th in the Alfa College Kluiverboom, Groningen!
