PAP

Groningen-based artist Igor Bobeldijk organised a brunch & wellness on January 18th as part of Talent van Hier. Slumped you could enjoy a mimosa or delicious nutritious porridge. The robots were controlled by the operators to serve the visitors from a distance. When the robots were not actively working, they moved freely to the ambient sci-fi music of Adriaan Bon, aka Zachte Man, who pampered the ears with his keyboard

About  Igor Bobeldijk

Igor Bobeldijk experiments with robot prototypes, physical interfaces, and code. His works highlight the science fiction condition of today, often referencing the absurd. Submarine cables, data centers immersed in oil, and robot warehouses are examples of the real infrastructure of this moment. Igor uses discarded electronics and basic materials in an attempt to get a head start on the future while mimicking these inaccessible high-tech forms.

About Zachte Man

It is not obvious to fluctuate between classical music, electronic music, dj-ing, visual arts or film, and this also failed dramatically when you ask Zachte Man. Absence and deleted works became a recurring feature of this artist. Zachte Man is a composer/producer who does not like music at all. In fact, Zachte Man does not like anything. But the futuristic show by Igor Bobeldijk makes him do something. Zachte Man will help you eat the food that will be served. What’s on the menu? Digestive music.
